Gdansk - VfL Wolfsburg arrived in Gdansk, Poland, late on Saturday as they embark on the Bundesliga World Tour 2015.

De Bruyne set to return

The Wolves will face KS Lechia Gdansk, who finished eighth in the Polish First Division last season, at the PGE Arena at 13.30 CEST on Sunday afternoon. "I'm expecting my players to play well, despite being tired," explained coach Dieter Hecking. "We want to find that winning mentality again."

Hecking's troops received a boost in preparation for their second friendly of pre-season on Sunday morning when international trio Andre Schürrle, Ricardo Rodriguez and Vieirinha returned to training. Fellow stars Kevin De Bruyne and Ivan Perisic will link up with their team-mates on Monday.

The Wolves then head to Donaueschingen in the Black Forest for a six-day training camp on 18 July. "The returnees will have to build a solid foundation," added Hecking. "We'll try to bring them onto the same level as everyone else."

Wolfsburg host FC Bayern München in the 2015 Supercup on 1 August in their first competitive engagement of the new season.
