New Bayern Munich signing James Rodriguez was officially presented by the Bundesliga champions on Wednesday afternoon in the Bavarian capital and the Colombia captain subsequently trained with his new team-mates for the first time.

"It's a new life, a new direction. Bayern are a big team, among the three best in the world. And as a big club you always have to fight for titles. I'm coming here to try and win them. I'll try to help make the team better. It's a nice city and a new culture. I'll try to learn a lot, and I'll learn German. The club have treated me well ever since I arrived. They've told me that my team-mates are good guys. It's a pretty close-knit group. I'm happy and I hope to make the dream I have in my heart a reality."
