How many 11-year-olds can say they've taught Marco Fabian the Floss or had a laugh with Timothy Chandler? Well, lifelong Eintracht Frankfurt fan Niklas can, having spent the day as a Topps Kids Reporter at the club's Media Day.
Niklas was given an access-all-areas pass for the day as the Frankfurt players posed for the cameras ahead of the 2018/19 season, and was given a behind-the-scenes glimpse of life as a Bundesliga pro.
As well as posing some unusual questions to Marco Russ, Nicolai Müller, Danny da Costa and Co., the youngster danced and laughed along with his heroes and Mijat Gacinovic even gave him his own Frankfurt shirt with "Niklas" and the number 13 on the back. What exactly is a 'Media Day'? At the start of every new season, journalists, photographers and camera crews visit every Bundesliga club in order to capture pictures and videos that can be used throughout the campaign. For example the images you see in the starting line-ups on television are taken on a Media Day.
