Borussia Dortmund have completed their third signing of the summer by bringing in midfielder Thomas Delaney from Werder Bremen on an four-year deal.

The Denmark international had become a key man at Werder during his 18-month stay, including captaining the side on a number of occasions.

Since joining from Copenhagen in January 2017, Delaney has featured 45 times in the Bundesliga, scoring seven times and assisting six. That includes one against his new club in a 1-1 draw on Matchday 32.

Before joining up with his new BVB teammates, Delaney will be at the FIFA World Cup with Denmark, taking on Australia, France and Peru in Group C.
