There will be a new look about Bundesliga matchdays from 2017/18 with new kick-off times and the introduction of new time slots to look forward to.

The regular Bundesliga weekend will still start on a Friday night, but it will end on a Monday evening on five occasions, while Sunday's scheduling will see a new early kick-off introduced on five occasions.

This will give Bundesliga fans even more opportunity to see their stars in action without missing a kick from other compelling fixtures, with seven different kick-off times for the nine weekly fixtures to slot into.

bundesliga.com has a guide to the new Matchday schedule from 2017/18 (all times are local):

Friday:

- One fixture at 20:30

Saturday:

- Several fixtures at 15:30

- One fixture at 18:30

Sunday:

- One fixture at 15:30

- One fixture at 18:00

- On five weekends, one additional fixture at 13:30.

Monday:

- One fixture at 20:30 on five weekends of the season.
