Schalke announce second China tour
Schalke will travel to China for the second time, as part of their pre-season preparations for the 2017/18 campaign.
The Royal Blues, who enjoyed a six-day stint in the world's most populous nation last summer, will be based in Shanghai from 16-22 July.
The trip will be used to extend Schalke's reach into the wider Chinese market, while friendlies against European opposition have been pencilled in for 19 and 21 July.

"China is one of the most important target markets in terms of our long-term international strategy," explained Schalke's marketing chief, Alexander Jobst.
"The second visit offers Schalke the perfect opportunity to heighten Schalke's international profile and generate a permanent interest in the club.
"We want to show that Schalke are open, transparent and fan-centric. That's what we stand for as a club in Germany and worldwide, too."
