Dortmund - South Korean international Joo-Ho Park has left 1. FSV Mainz 05 and joined Borussia Dortmund, signing a three-year contract until June 2018.

In linking up with the Black-and-Yellows, the 28-year-old will be reunited with coach Thomas Tuchel, who first brought him to Mainz in 2013 from Swiss club FC Basel 1893, with whom the Seoul-born utility man won two Swiss Super League titles.

Park, who can also play as a defensive midfielder, made a total of 50 appearances for Mainz, 44 of which came in the Bundesliga, and scored one goal. He hasfeatured for his country on 26 occasions since making his debut in January 2010 and was part of the squad that competed at the 2014 FIFA World Cup in Brazil.
