USMNT starlet Julian Green impressed in FC Bayern München's latest outing in the United States, grabbing a 35-minute hat-trick as the Bundesliga champions beat FC Internazionale Milano 4-1 at the International Champions Cup in Charlotte, North Carolina.

New coach Carlo Ancelotti this week affirmed that Green: "…will be important for [Bayern] in the season," and the 21-year-old forward was duly given his fifth pre-season start, alongside more established stars such as Franck Ribery, Arturo Vidal and David Alaba.
Watch: Julian Green's hat-trick for Bayern against Inter:
Green turned home an Alaba cross from close range with just seven minutes gone at the Bank of America stadium, with his North Carolinian father watching on from the stands. The resurgent Ribery then got his own name on the scoresheet before turning provider for Green to double his tally on the half-hour with a cool, slide-rule finish past Samir Handanovic.
The six-times capped USMNT forward sent the home crowd into raptures five minutes later, drifting off his marker to tap home a Rafinha cross and complete his third career hat-trick. Mauro Icardi grabbed a last-minute consolation at the other end, but that did little to dampen Bayern's joy.
Italian coach Ancelotti has now won four of his five pre-season games as coach, losing the other on penalties after a 3-3 draw with AC Milan. The Bavarians will conclude their tour of the USA after taking on Real Madrid CF in New Jersey on 4 August.
