Coman: He places a lot of emphasis on communication. He always has time for his players and the door to his office is always open for us at any time. He never really gets loud and he has a natural authority. He can deal with any kind of player.

bundesliga.com: And how would you describe him as a coach?

Coman: His great experience, which he gathered first as a player and then as a coach, means nothing surprises him anymore. He's extremely professional and doesn't leave anything to chance, and as far as his philosophy is concerned, he loves it when his team are in control of the game. He's very flexible tactically and always has a trick up his sleeve when he needs to shuffle things.

We've set the bar high and I think Ancelotti is just the right man to help us fulfil our lofty ambitions on the highest level in Europe. Kingsley Coman

bundesliga.com: What are your hopes for the coming season with Pep Guardiola's successor?

Coman: I was very happy with my first season at Bayern in terms of my playing time. I was able to show what I am all about, and now I want to confirm this and start even more games, even if the competition is still extremely strong. It's certainly no disadvantage the fact I've worked with Carlo Ancelotti before, but I nevertheless know that I still have to keep working hard to reach my goal. I'm definitely looking forward to the new season with Ancelotti. We've set the bar high and I think Ancelotti is just the right man to help us fulfil our lofty ambitions on the highest level in Europe.
