RB Leipzig's preparations for the new season and their Matchday 1 visit to TSG 1899 Hoffenheim continued on Wednesday, as they became the second top-flight club to have their official 2016/17 Bundesliga Media Day.
The players and coaching staff gathered at the club's training ground to take official photographs and produce exclusive media content for use throughout the upcoming campaign.
bundesliga.com rounds up the highlights…
Such was the importance of the occasion that the red carpet was laid out for the players as they made their way through the training facility to where the cameras were set up.
Captain Dominik Kaiser could not resist taking a few snaps himself:
One assumes (and hopes) that Kaiser is better at taking photos than he is at speaking Chinese!
This was striker Davie Selke being put to the test in a spelling challenge. Can you make out what (or whom) he is attempting to spell?
The squad also got to try out a host of hilarious exercises - some of which you will be able to see on bundesliga.com later in the season. Here are some of them attempting keepy-uppies with an American football, a tennis ball and what, er, looks like a die.
And there was even time for Bulli, the club mascot, to show the watching cameras how you take a dizzy penalty!
Ralph Hasenhüttl's men travel to Hoffenheim for their maiden Bundesliga match on 27/28 August.
