1) Kerem Demirbay (TSG 1899 Hoffenheim, 3.4M)

The 23-year-old midfielder looked to be a good, solid addition to the Hoffenheim midfield last summer but he quickly found his feet to play an integral role in his side’s 16-match unbeaten run to start 2016/17. Three goals and four assists will have pleased the Fantasy managers out there who spent just 3.4M on him, so why not join them?

2) Pascal Stenzel (SC Freiburg, 1.8M)

Freiburg’s impressive position of eighth place after the Hinrunde has been one of the quieter success stories of the season so far, and Stenzel has certainly played his part. Still only 20, the Borussia Dortmund loanee has consistent accrued points in his 13 appearances and his low price tag helps give him a Best Value Rank of 76, higher than any other defender.

3) Alexander Hack (1. FSV Mainz 05, 3.7M)

He may have only played in nine of the Zero Fivers’ matches so far, but some consistent displays have seen Hack pick up 66 points, which when combined with his price of just 3.7M makes Hack a good target for the thrifty players out there.

4) Bernardo (RB Leipzig, 4.9M)

Leipzig’s Brazilian just creeps in at under the 5M mark but he is good value for it, having picked up 60 points over nine appearances so far. He started the season at FC Salzburg in Austria before his move to the Bundesliga's surprise package, and while Bernardo may have eluded some managers earlier this term, don’t miss out on what this talented 21-year-old could offer your side.

5) Antonio Colak (SV Darmstadt 98, 3.9M)

Loaned in from 1. FC Kaiserslautern, Colak has given a good account of himself despite a difficult Hinrunde for Darmstadt. The Croatian striker will need to contribute if Die Lillien are to climb out of danger, and at just 3.9M he could be a bargain buy for Fantasy players with one eye on their budgets.
