There was good news for Borussia Dortmund on Tuesday as Marco Reus returned to training after several weeks out with a muscle strain.

Reus sustained the injury against Eintracht Frankfurt on 13 December, meaning he missed the club's last two competitive games prior to the winter break. He then spent time in Dubai with Dortmund's medical staff before returning to training this week.

The 26-year-old is expected to head back to Dubai on 7 January when BVB set off for their winter training camp. As things stand, head coach Thomas Tuchel will have his full squad available for the nine-day trip after Nuri Sahin and Erik Durm also took part in training on Tuesday. The duo have struggled with serious injuries this season, but are now fit enough to train with the first team.
