VfL Wolfsburg have confirmed the departure of centre-back Timm Klose to English Premier League side Norwich City.

The 27-year-old joined the Wolves in July 2013 from 1. FC Nürnberg and went on to play 30 Bundesliga games, scoring twice.

The Swiss international found his playing time limited at the Volkswagen Arena, with Naldo and Dante ahead of him in the pecking order.

"Timm always conducted himself extremely professionally in the difficult situation he had and always committed himself to the team," said Wolfsburg head coach Dieter Hecking. "This transfer is the best solution for all parties. I'm sure Timm will find his way in England and I wish him all the best."
