The Germany international stopper received the most votes in both the @Bundesliga_EN (8.540) and @bundesliga_de (4.001) polls, beating runner-up Ralf Fährmann (FC Schalke 04), Timo Horn (1. FC Köln) and Loris Karius (784) to first place.
