Eintracht Frankfurt have strengthened their squad with the signing of experienced Bundesliga campaigner Szabolcs Huszti.

Huszti, who scored 36 goals in 132 Bundesliga appearances during two spells with Hannover 96, has inked an 18-month deal with the Eagles through to June 2017 after a year-and-a-half with Chinese outfit Changchun Yatai.

"I'm looking forward to playing for Eintracht and getting to know the city of Frankfurt," Huszti, 32, said. "I do know the Bundesliga very well, and would like to show with Eintracht that I can again compete in one of the best leagues in the world. I'll give everything to do that."

The former Hungary international featured for Hannover between 2006 and 2009, and again between 2012 and 2014, playing for Russian heavyweights Zenit St. Petersburg in the intervening period.

"With Szabolcs, we have found another variation for our attacking play," Frankfurt sporting director Bruno Hübner explained. "He knows the Bundesliga well, has a strong left foot and is very effective at set-pieces."
