Borussia Dortmund have arrived in Dubai for an eight-day winter training camp in preparation for the second half of the Bundesliga campaign.

Social media reacts to Aubameyang's 2015 African POTY triumph.

24 players have made the trip, including Turkey international midfielder Nuri Sahin and versatile defender Erik Durm - both available again following long-term injury problems - as well as Under-19s duo Felix Passlack and Christian Pulisic.

Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang is due to arrive in time for the weekend, fresh from becoming the first Bundesliga player to be crowned Confederation of African Football Player of the Year at an award ceremony in Nigerian capital Abuja on Thursday night.

Frankfurt date

Thomas Tuchel and his men will be based at the NAS Sports Complex, where the BVB camp can expect to be put through their paces twice daily until their scheduled departure on 16 January.

Die Schwarz-Gelben have also lined up friendlies against fellow Bundesliga club Eintracht Frankfurt (12 January) and South Korean champions Jeonbuk Hyundai Motors FC (15 January).
