It wasn't all fun and games for Die Werkself on Friday, however. Two training sessions were on the agenda prior to the trip to the Amway Center, with Leverkusen keen to ensure that they secure European qualification for next season: after 16 Matchdays.

"I like playing in the Champions League," star striker Javier 'Chicharito' Hernandez told bundesliga.com in a one-on-one interview. "Luckily Bayer have been involved for the last few years. We hope we can achieve this goal again in the second half of the season."
