Bayern's Manuel Neuer named in FIFPro world XI for 2016
FC Bayern München and Germany goalkeeper Manuel Neuer has been named in the FIFPro World XI for 2016.
The 30-year-old beat off competition from Gianluigi Buffon (Juventus), Claudio Bravo (Manchester City FC), Keylor Navas (Real Madrid CF) and David de Gea (Manchester United FC) to earn a place in the team, voted for by his fellow professionals around the world, for the fourth year running.

Neuer won the domestic double of the Bundesliga and DFB Cup in 2016 and helped Germany reach the semi-finals of UEFA EURO 2016. In the 2016/17 season so far, he has made 24 appearances for Bayern in all competitions, keeping 12 clean sheets. It is the fourth year in a row in which the Gelsenkirchen native has been named in the FIFPro World XI.
