Attacking midfielder of the Hinrunde: Müller edges out Kagawa

The first half of the 2015/16 Bundesliga season will go down in history. A whole host of records were smashed in one of the most spectacular Hinrunden of all time. But who were the standout players? For you, Thomas Müller is the man to fill the attacking midfield role.

Once again, it came down to a duel between an FC Bayern München player and a Borussia Dortmund man. Just as for the left-wing berth, it was a close-run thing. And once again, it was FC Bayern who came out on top. Müller actually lost out to Shinji Kagawa in the @bundesliga_EN poll by a mere 271 votes, but the support he got from @bundesliga_de - winning by 793 votes - helped the Germany international over the line to join Bayern team-mates Manuel Neuer, Philipp Lahm, Jerome Boateng and Douglas Costa in your line-up.

Remember: The winner is the man who picks up the most votes from both the @Bundesliga_EN and @bundesliga_de polls combined.
