The Scout: The Magnificent Seven

The midweek fixtures are over and the rings around my eyes are slowly receding. Getting a bit of sleep for once has worked wonders. I've drawn on Hollywood for inspiration for my latest column to proudly present the Official Fantasy Bundesliga Magnificent Seven.

To make it more interesting, I’ve decided to forego the top five performers so far - Robert Lewandowski (63 points), Anthony Modeste (57), Konstantinos Stafylidis (56), Frederik Sörensen (51) and Franck Ribery (50).

Raphael Guerreiro (Borussia Dortmund, defender, 11.3m)

The European Champion was an obvious choice you say? Well you’d be right because for my money, Guerreiro is the hottest property in Official Fantasy Bundesliga at the moment, especially as Thomas Tuchel has been playing him in midfield rather than at left-back. The only deficit could be that he misses one or two games due to squad rotation.

Benjamin Henrichs (Bayer Leverkusen, midfielder, 5.4m)

Despite a successful pre-season, 19-year old Henrichs didn’t make the starting line-up on Matchday 1. Leverkusen lost that match and since then, Henrichs hasn’t missed a minute of action. A midfielder by trade, coach Roger Schmidt has been playing him at full-back – a position that guarantees him points thanks to lots of successful challenges.

Marco Fabian (Eintracht Frankfurt, midfielder, 10.4m)

It took a while, but the winter signing has finally arrived in the Bundesliga. His last two matches were a revelation. Fabian has picked up double-digit points in each of his last three outings. That’s what you call top form.

About Flo: From shoe sizes to the number of goals scored in training, Official Fantasy Bundesliga Scout Florian knows everything there is to know about every single member of the Bundesliga's all-star cast. He claims to have discovered Fritz Walter and Franz Beckenbauer, and now he wants to share his talent-spotting prowess with you.
