1. FSV Mainz 05's Japan international Yoshinori Muto has returned to first-team training and is an option for Matchday 28's clash with FC Augsburg, the club confirmed on Tuesday.
Muto, 23, tore lateral knee ligaments in Matchday 20's 1-0 win against Hannover 96, but was back in light training prior to the Easter weekend.
On Tuesday, Mainz's second top-scorer this season (seven goals) took part in a training game with his team-mates and will now be available for Saturday's clash with Augsburg at the Coface Arena.
Elsewhere, Mainz skipper Julian Baumgartlinger has returned from international duty with Austria prematurely due to illness. Leon Balogun and Gianluca Curci are also struggling with the flu.
