Karl-Heinz Rummenigge elected into Hall of Fame
FC Bayern München chairman Karl-Heinz Rummenigge has been elected into the international football Hall of Fame.
The 60-year-old, who won two Bundesliga titles, two DFB Cups, two European Cups and the 1980 UEFA European Championship as a player, will become the fourth former Bayern and Germany international inductee.
Rummenigge takes his place alongside Gerd Müller, Franz Beckenbauer and Lothar Matthäus, as well as world greats such as Pele and the late Johan Cruyff.
The official ceremony takes place in Pachuca, Mexico, on 8 November.
