Lewandowski has become synonymous with goals since first joining the Bundesliga ranks as a Borussia Dortmund player in 2010. The Poland international won his first Bundesliga title in his debut season in Germany's top flight, and went one better the following year with a Bundesliga and DFB Cup double. He signed off at BVB as top scorer on 20 goals at the end of 2013/14, before moving to Munich, where he has cemented his reputation as one of the most accomplished strikers of the modern era - particularly in 2015/16...

  • Lewandowski was presented with four Guinness World Record certificates after scoring the fastest ever hat-trick, four- and five-goal salvos (four, five and six minutes respectively) and most goals by a substitute (five - in nine minutes) in Bayern’s famous 5-1 win over VfL Wolfsburg on 22 September 2015.
  • The 27-year-old broke the 100-Bundesliga goal mark faster than any of his non-German predecessors with a brace against 1. FSV Mainz 05 on his 168th Bundesliga appearance.
  • Bayern and Germany legend Gerd Müller is the only player in Bundesliga history other than Lewandowski to have registered ten Bundesliga goals seven games into a season.
