It's time to pick your 2016/17 Bundesliga Team of the Hinrunde, and here is your selection of left-backs to choose from.

Jonas Hector (1. FC Köln)

After a fine UEFA EURO 2016 campaign for Germany, where he helped the world champions reach the semi-finals, Hector has been a key part of Köln’s rise up the Bundesliga standings. The 26-year-old, who can also play in holding midfield, has played every minute as the Billy Goats have climbed to seventh, picking up one assist en route.

David Alaba (FC Bayern München)

The Austrian has bounced back in style after his disappointments with Austria during the summer, playing a key role as the champions have held on to top spot in the run-up to the winter break. Alaba has picked up three assists and created 33 chances, as well as developing into a key player in Carlo Ancelotti’s new system.

Sead Kolasinac (FC Schalke 04)

Two goals and four assists speak for themselves: Kolasinac has been outstanding as Schalke recovered from a bad start to the season to scale the standings during the second half of the Hinrunde. The Bosnian has developed into a key attacking outlet on the left-hand side of Markus Weinzierl’s 3-5-2 system.

Marcel Halstenberg (RB Leipzig)

Halstenberg has played every minute as Leipzig have taken the Bundesliga by storm during the Hinrunde. Although yet to register an assist, the 25-year-old has completed over 70 per cent of his passes and has become a valuable source of Official Fantasy Bundesliga points.
