In bundesliga.com’s Advent calendar competition, we are offering you the chance to win one of over 240 brilliant prizes, including signed shirts and other Bundesliga memorabilia. All you need to do is watch a video clip and decide if the player in question scored a goal or not. Simple!
Lurking behind the calendar door on 2 December is the 2015/16 campaign's leading goalscorer, Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang.
Born in Laval, France, Aubameyang joined Borussia Dortmund from AS Saint-Etienne in summer 2013. The AC Milan youth academy graduate scored 13 times in his debut Bundesliga season, largely operating as right-sided attacker. He bumped his tally up to 16 a year later, but it is in 2015/16 that he has truly come of age. Chalking up all manner of best-marks as the focal point of BVB's attack, the Gabon international already has 17 Bundesliga goals to show for the first 14 matches of the campaign.
- Aubameyang became the first player in Bundesliga history to score at least once in every game between Matchdays 1-8.
- His 17-goal haul after 14 rounds of matches this term means he has already surpassed his total in the entire 2014/15 Bundesliga season.
- Dortmund is Aubameyang's sixth professional club, having previously laced his boots for St. Etienne (2011 - 2013), AC Milan (2008-2011) FCO Dijon (2008/09, loan), OSC Lille (2009/10, loan) and AS Monaco (2010/11, loan).
