With Hertha Berlin's Rune Jarstein manning the goal posts, the Bundesliga Matchday 24 Team of the Week is in safe hands. Find out who else made it into the side below...

Goalkeeper

Rune Jarstein (Hertha Berlin, 14 points)

Only a brave few souls would have bet on Hertha coming away with a clean sheet and a point from the Allianz Arena against a Bayern side looking for a record 15th consecutive win and with Robert Lewandowski desperate to break Jupp Heynckes' record of scoring in 12 straight home games since the start of the season. That they did so in large part thanks to Jarstein, who made seven saves to keep the hosts at bay, earning him the MD24 Man of the Matchday gong in the process.

Defenders

Andreas Beck (Stuttgart, 14 points)

The Stuttgart right-back won more tackles (16) than anyone else on the pitch to help the stubborn Swabians keep a clean sheet in a 1-0 win at home to an in-form Eintracht Frankfurt side. The victory, Stuttgart's eighth on home turf this season, lifted Tayfun Korkut's men six points clear of the drop zone.

Javi Martinez (Bayern Munich, 14pts)

Bayern may not have scored on Saturday, but the 29-year-old Spain international played his part in making sure Hertha didn't either. Martinez won a whopping 17 of his challenges and earned bonus points at the other end of the pitch too, teeing up two colleagues to fire off shots on goal.

William (Wolfsburg, 15pts)

Not only did the tenacious Wolfsburg full-back win 18 of all the tackles he contested, in true Brazilian style he was also a menace going forward and grabbed the assist for Josip Brekalo's opener in the 1-1 draw against Mainz.

Midfielders

Daniel Caligiuri (Schalke, 12pts)

If you don't have the Schalke wideman in your team yet, make him your first transfer for Matchday 25. The third-highest scoring fantasy midfielder overall this season, Caligiuri won a game-high 14 tackles, set up four shots for of his team-mates and won extra points for his wonderful assist for Guido Burgstaller in the Royal Blues' 2-0 win at Bayer Leverkusen.

Christoph Kramer (Borussia Mönchengladbach, 15pts)

Gladbach's tireless midfield shield won 18 challenges as he cleaned up in front of his defence, and also scored a terrific winner in the 1-0 triumph away to Hannover.

Marcel Risse (Cologne, 12pts)

The Cologne winger was a hive of activity at the Red Bull Arena, weighing in with a couple of attempts on goal, a game-high five crosses and the match-winning assist for Leonardo Bittencourt as Cologne stunned RB Leipzig.

Forwards

Ihlas Bebou (Hannover, 14 pts)

The Hannover striker was on the losing side at the HDI-Arena, but scored top marks for effort after winning a meaty 25 challenges and having four attempts on the Gladbach goal.

Robert Lewandowski (Bayern, 15pts)

Even when he's not scoring, Bayern's No.9 is still a points monster in the Fantasy world. The Poland international rattled off 10 efforts on Jarstein's goal and came out on top of a whopping 21 challenges – both match-leading statistics.
