Jadon Sancho took his goalscoring form into the UEFA Youth League on Tuesday, netting in a 2-0 win for Borussia Dortmund's U-19s against Cypriot side Apoel.
Sancho had been in prolific form for England at the FIFA U-17 World Cup in India, scoring three times before he was recalled by Dortmund on Monday evening. A change of scenery evidently did little to halt his hot streak in front of goal, as he added the second in Cyprus on Tuesday.
"Goal! Jadon Sancho seals it!
Dortmund dominated from start to finish against their Mediterranean hosts but were made to wait until the 83rd minute for the breakthrough, when Jacon Bruun Larsen opened the scoring before Sancho's effort.
The Englishman is yet to make an appearance in the German top flight following his summer move from Manchester City, but he was named in the matchday squad against Augsburg on Matchday 7. He could be in line to make his Bundesliga debut at Eintracht Frankfurt on Saturday.
