Hoffenheim have signed Dutch defender Justin Hoogma from Eredivisie outfit Heracles.

The 19-year-old, who is the youngest player in Eredivise history to play every minute of every league game in a single season, has penned a four-year deal.

"Justin is a highly rated defender - a left-footer with exceptional qualities in the build-up, who has already written his young name into the history books of Dutch football," said Hoffenheim sporting director Alexander Rosen.

"With their playing style, success and not to mention their reputation for taking players to the next level, Hoffenheim left a real impression on me from the moment we started talks," added Hoogma - the son of Nico-Jan Hoogma, whom made 177 Bundesliga appearances for Hamburg between 1998-2004.

The three-time Netherlands Under-20 international joins a Hoffenheim side with a key vacancy to fill in the centre of defence, following Niklas Süle's summer move to Bayern Munich.
