Bayern Munich's Thomas Müller nets stunner as Germany hold Spain
Bayern Munich forward Thomas Müller scored his 38th international goal as world champions Germany came from behind to draw with Spain in a high-octane friendly in Düsseldorf on Friday.

Germany started brightly, but were undone by a fine bit of Andres Iniesta invention. The Barcelona midfielder threaded a delightful ball through to Rodrigo Moreno, who clipped over the advancing Marc-Andre ter Stegen to give Spain the early lead. Chances came and went for Cologne left-back Jonas Hector and RB Leipzig forward Timo Werner, before Müller collected a pass from Sami Khedira and curled an unstoppable effort into the top corner of David De Gea's goal to send the 2014 World Cup winners in level at the break.
Only a spectacular flying save from De Gea prevented Paris-Saint Germain's Julian Draxler from giving the hosts the lead after the restart, before ter Stegen thwarted Isco from point-blank range at the other end. De Gea kept out substitute Ilkay Gündogan and Werner in quick succession, but even when he was beaten, the Manchester United custodian had Lady Luck on his side as Mats Hummels crashed a header against the crossbar. Bayern team-mate Jerome Boateng got in the way of a Diego Costa effort in a rare Spain foray into home territory as Germany extended their unbeaten run to 22 matches ahead of Tuesday's friendly with Brazil in Berlin.
