German professional football will commemorate the victims of the terrorist attacks on Paris with a minute's silence before kick-off during the next round of domestic matches between 20 and 23 November. In addition, players in both the Bundesliga and Bundesliga 2 will wear black armbands.

The clubs of the league association and their players immediately expressed their shock following Friday’s act of terror, in which at least 129 people died and a further 352 were seriously injured according to official figures.

One of the attacks took place in the vicinity of the Germany national team’s friendly game with France, the host nation of the 2016 UEFA European Championship between 10 June and 10 July.
