In the interests of maximum forward planning, DFL Deutsche Fußball Liga has already finalised kick-off times for Bundesliga and Bundesliga 2 fixtures until the end of September, to include Matchday 7 in the Bundesliga and Matchday 9 in Bundesliga 2.

“Looking ahead, we will continue to take account of the need for the best possible basis for forward planning in Bundesliga fixtures. This will benefit the fans as well as the clubs and media partners,” said DFL CEO Christian Seifert.

Details of the individual fixtures are now available at www.bundesliga.com.

As previously announced, the new Bundesliga season will kick off on Friday, 14 August 2015 (20:30 CEST) with German champions FC Bayern München taking on Hamburger SV.

The first Saturday evening match in the 2015/16 Bundesliga season will be between Borussia Dortmund and Borussia Mönchengladbach on 15 August (18:30 CEST). Matchday 5 on 20 September will see an additional third Sunday fixture, pitting Borussia Dortmund against Bayer 04 Leverkusen. However, this match may also be brought forward to Saturday evening (19 September, 18:30 CEST) depending on the outcome of the play-offs for the UEFA Champions League (Bayer 04 Leverkusen) and the UEFA Europa League (Borussia Dortmund) on 18 - 20 August and 25 - 27 August.

The exact timings for Matchday 1 and 2 in Bundesliga 2 on 24 - 27 July 2015 and 31 July - 3 August 2015 have already been announced. The 2015/16 season will commence on 24 July (20:30 CEST) with a match between newly-promoted MSV Duisburg and 1. FC Kaiserslautern.

Further dates will be announced in September. These depend on the schedule for the group stage of the UEFA Champions League and UEFA Europa League, which will be announced after the draws on 27 /28 August 2015 in Monaco.
