Bundesliga giants Borussia Dortmund have been drawn against Red Bull Salzburg in the last 16 of the UEFA Europa League, while European newcomers RB Leipzig will face Zenit St. Petersburg in the next round.

Both Bundesliga sides overcame Italian opponents in the Round of 32, as Dortmund needed a late away goal to get past Atalanta, and on the same night, Leipzig lost 2-0 to Napoli but progressed thanks to three away goals picked up in Italy.

It is the first time that Dortmund will have ever faced Salzburg, and of course also the first time that RB Leipzig have met their Russian opponents in their maiden European campaign.

Both Bundesliga sides will play hosts for the first legs on 8 March, before travelling to Salzburg and St. Petersburg respectively on 15 March.
