Kingsley Coman has made a stunning impact at FC Bayern München this season, and the French prodigy told bundesliga.com he intends to maintain his high-octane form in the Rückrunde.

Billed as a 'promising youngster' when he arrived at the Allianz Arena on a two-season loan from Juventus FC, Coman, 19, has now cemented himself firmly in the Bundesliga champions' first-team squad, but still has his sights set even higher.

bundesliga.com: Kingsley Coman, how was your first winter break?

Coman: Since my arrival at Bayern, from the end of August until Christmas, we have played almost every three days. I have been fortunate to avoid injuries, but that means I felt a little tired. I must say, the break did me the world of good. I was able to recharge my batteries and build up my strength.

bundesliga.com: What does a player at your level do to recover?

Coman: We had two full weeks of holiday. I stayed with my family near Paris. I slept a lot.

bundesliga.com: Did the winter break give you the opportunity to reflect on what you have achieved during your first five months in Munich?

Coman: I am aware that my first steps at Bayern have been very positive. I never would have thought I would play so often. Yes, the powers-that-be had promised me a good amount of playing time, but I have even often been in the starting line-up. With all the injuries, and because I feel Pep Guardiola's trust each day, I have been able to meet expectations. It's up to me to confirm things in the second half of the season.

bundesliga.com: What has been particularly positive up to now?

Coman: Firstly, the attacking style of play suits me down to the ground. At Bayern, I often get the ball, and the style of play is all about going forward. At Juventus, the pressure was bigger before matches, and in Munich, it's calmer, which suits me.

bundesliga.com: What are your objectives now at the start of the year?

Coman: Here, I have the opportunity to win a lot of trophies, and first of all, the Bundesliga title. For me, it would be my third in a row after Italy with Juventus (2015) and France with PSG (2014). We also want to win the DFB Cup and the Champions League. We're hungry and we want the maximum.

bundesliga.com: And your long-term objectives?

Coman: I would like to stay at Bayern for several years. I have marvellous conditions here, I'm very happy. But it's not only up to me: If I continue performing, I could stay more than two years in Munich.

bundesliga.com: Who are the main challengers in the race for the title?

Coman: You have to take Borussia Dortmund seriously. It's good to be eight points ahead, but that can very quickly change. So we have to keep giving our all and try to win each game.

bundesliga.com: Which Bundesliga stadiums have impressed you so far?

Coman: Our stadium is fantastic! I really enjoy playing there. It's quite incredible that every match is a sell-out. Other than that, I really liked Wolfsburg's stadium. The giant screen fascinated me. It is so big that every time I took a shot at goal, I got the feeling I was going to hit it. At Mönchengladbach, the atmosphere was great too. This league is very popular. I'm already looking forward to discovering other stadiums like Dortmund and Hamburg.
