TSG 1899 Hoffenheim are expected to make two changes from the side that won 3-0 at Bayer 04 Leverkusen. Lukas Rupp and Jeremy Toljan are likely to replace Steven Zuber and Nadiem Amiri. Rupp played just over an hour of Hoffenheim’s DFB Cup extra-time defeat to 1. FC Köln on Wednesday before being replaced by Toljan. Only Pavel Kaderabek did not feature during midweek.

Hertha Berlin are in line to make only one change from the starting XI that beat Köln 2-1 on matchday 8. Left-back Marvin Plattenhardt has suffered a groin injury and so looks likely to be replaced by Peter Pekarik. This side would feature two changes from the one sent out in the side’s 2-0 win over FC St. Pauli in the DFB Cup on Tuesday, with Alexander Esswein and Genki Haraguchi to replace Plattenhardt and Valentin Stocker, who is still suspended.
