RB Leipzig must plan without Austrian midfielder Marcel Sabitzer after the 22-year-old suffered a serious ankle ligament injury in his team's 1-0 victory away to VfL Wolfsburg on Matchday 7. Scotland international Oliver Burke and Dominik Kaiser are among those in contention to replace their injured team-mate.
SV Werder Bremen will assess the fitness of attacker Serge Gnabry, who suffered a bruised spine at the start of the week. The 21-year-old is thought to be recovering favourably but should he miss out, the experienced Fin Bartels is ready to deputise.
