Fresh from tasting defeat for the first time as FC Bayern München head coach in Wednesday's UEFA Champions League encounter with Club Atletico de Madrid, Carlo Ancelotti is expected to make a handful of changes for the visit of 1. FC Köln. Joshua Kimmich could come into the midfield in place of Xabi Alonso, while fit-again winger Arjen Robben is also pushing for a start.

Köln head coach Peter Stöger, meanwhile, may opt for a three-man defence in a bid to stifle Bayern's vast attacking ranks. Central defender Dominic Maroh and midfielder Leonardo Bittencourt remain sidelined, however.
