Following Wednesday's defeat against FC Barcelona, Borussia Mönchengladbach coach Andre Schubert is expected to make several changes to his starting line-up for the trip to FC Schalke 04. Andre Hahn could deputise for Brazilian forward Raffael, sidelined with a hamstring injury, while Mahmoud Dahoud, Jannik Vestergaard, Patrick Herrmann and Ibrahima Traore are all in contention for starting berths. Long-term injuries to Coke, Atsuto Uchida and Donis Avdijaj continue to disrupt Schalke, whose coach Markus Weinzierl may alter his team formation against Gladbach.
