Cologne - No less than four live matches flooded the airwaves this weekend courtesy of Bundesliga radio.

1. FSV Mainz 05 recorded their third win of the season on Friday evening, beating TSG 1899 Hoffenheim 3-1 at the Coface Arena. On Saturday it was on to the Merck-Stadion am Böllenfalltor, where FC Bayern München sealed a comfortable 3-0 victory over promoted SV Darmstadt 98.

On Sunday, Leroy Sane's second-half strike earned FC Schalke 04 a smash-and-grab 1-0 win over VfB Stuttgart at the Mercedes-Benz Arena, before Borussia Dortmund maintained their winning start to the campaign with a 3-0 success against Bayer 04 Leverkusen.
