Bayer 04 Leverkusen attacker Julian Brandt hailed the "team spirit" at the club after Die Werkself crowned an excellent season with a 3-2 victory at home to FC Ingolstadt 04 on Matchday 34.

Leverkusen were made to work hard for the points by a dogged visiting side, and came from behind to go 3-1 up thanks to goals from Charles Aranguiz, Kevin Kampl and Stefan Kießling, before Moritz Hartmann pulled one back for Ingolstadt. It marked the side's eighth Bundesliga win in their last nine outings, a run that saw them fend off their rivals for the final automatic UEFA Champions League qualifying place.

Head coach Roger Schmidt praised his players for that ability to find form at such a late stage in the campaign and believes they will improve ahead of next season's tilt at silverware. Click on the video above to watch the interviews.
