Borussia Dortmund defender Marc Bartra is in line to face Augsburg on Saturday, less than a month after suffering an arm injury in a bomb attack on the BVB team bus.

Bartra had to undergo surgery on his right hand following the blast, which happened as BVB made their way to the SIGNAL IDUNA PARK for their UEFA Champions League quarter-final first leg with Monaco on 11 April.

"Marc Bartra is in the squad to face Augsburg," Dortmund head coach Thomas Tuchel told media on Friday. "I just have to check with the club doctor to find out if he can play with a cast."

The Spain international centre-back, who returned to team training on Wednesday, made the last of his 18 Bundesliga appearances this season in the 4-1 defeat at Bayern Munich on Matchday 28.
