First-choice goalkeeper Michael Esser is set to return for the Lilies. Midfielder Jerome Gondorf missed the trip to Leipzig through suspension, but should come straight back into the side for Sandro Sirigu, who is now suspended. USMNT international Terrence Boyd may also get a start against Bayer in place of Sven Schipplock as Torsten Frings looks to freshen his team up during this busy period.
