Sead Kolasinac (Schalke)

Quite literally broke the net with the only goal of the game as Schalke posted a rare away win at Mainz.

Thiago Alcantara (Bayern Munich)

Bayern's midfield matador pulled the strings to devastating effect, setting up Thomas Müller's match-winner with the most nonchalant of chipped passes.

Zlatko Junuzovic (Werder Bremen)

The Austria international opened the scoring with a sweetly struck volley, before laying on another for Florian Grillitsch in Bremen's surprise 3-0 win over Leipzig.

Thomas Müller (Bayern Munich)

Made all the difference on his 250th Bundesliga appearance, scoring the decisive goal against Gladbach to send Bayern 13 points clear at the summit.

Mario Gomez (VfL Wolfsburg)

Scored for the third match running as the Wolves made it seven points from a possible nine under interim coach Andries Jonker with victory over bottom club Darmstadt.

Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang (Borussia Dortmund)

Executed to perfection, the Gabon star's 23rd Bundesliga goal of the season was all the separated Dortmund and Ingolstadt at the SIGNAL IDUNA PARK.

Anthony Modeste (Cologne)

The Frenchman helped himself to a hat-trick in Cologne's gripping 4-2 triumph against Hertha Berlin to take his tally to the campaign to 22.
