Hamburg have no fresh injury concerns or suspensions to contend with as they look to rebound from their 8-0 reverse to Bayern Munich last Saturday. There seems a fair chance that coach Markus Gisdol will rotate to a degree for the sake of squad confidence. Bobby Wood could be pitted against friend and USMNT colleague John Brooks, with Lewis Holtby and Aaron Hunt competing for a place at No10.

Watch: Highlights of loss in Munich on Matchday 22:

Brooks and Wood overlapped for a year when the latter was at Union Berlin, though the safe money is on the centre-back getting the better of the centre forward come Sunday. The capital club have won six of their last seven games against HSV with an aggregate score of 13-2. Sebastian Langkamp may not accompany Brooks at the heart of the Old Lady’s defence, as he has neck and back trouble. Should he fail to shake it off in time, Niklas Stark should come into the side.
