Cologne will be without the suspended Jonas Hector as they attempt to stop the Bayern juggernaut on Saturday. The champions are currently enjoying a 15-game unbeaten run in all competitions – 13 of them victories – and have only lost once all season. The game comes too soon for captain Matthias Lehmann, who has been out with a knee injury since November, but the Billy Goats can rely on top scorer Anthony Modeste. The French striker has bagged 17 goals this term, including the equaliser in October's reverse fixture at the Allianz Arena.

Three days after a comfortable win over Schalke in the DFB Cup quarter-finals, Carlo Ancelotti may choose to rest several players before Tuesday's UEFA Champions League meeting with Arsenal – although the Bavarians go into their Last 16 second leg with a healthy 5-1 advantage. Arjen Robben, Franck Ribery, Arturo Vidal and Thiago could all start on the bench, with Kingsley Coman expected to come in after his brace in the 8-0 mauling of Hamburg. Mats Hummels, who went off at half-time against Schalke with a minor buttock strain, will be in the squad.
