Dortmund may have to do without defenders Sokratis and Matthias Ginter, who both missed training on Wednesday due to illness. Swedish youngster Alexander Isak - who is yet to make his BVB debut - will have to wait a little longer after picking up a thigh injury this week. Meanwhile, midfielder Mario Götze is set to remain sidelined after tests revealed the underlying cause of his recent injury woes: metabolic disturbances, which will keep him out for the foreseeable future.

Leverkusen top scorer Javier ‘Chicharito’ Hernandez sat out training on Tuesday but should be fit to start on Saturday. Die Werkself also welcome back Wendell from suspension. After starting as a substitute last time out, winger Julian Brandt could well be restored to Die Werkself's starting XI.
