Borussia Dortmund’s talented young winger Ousmane Dembele enjoyed himself in Die Schwarzgelben’s 6-2 rout of Bayer Leverkusen to put his name into the hat for the Matchday 23 #BLMVP.

The 19-year-old opened the scoring after only six minutes following some trademark trickery to deceive Tin Jedvaj, and a wonderful volleyed cross later on set up Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang for his second goal.

Dembele also had six attempts on goal and ran 8.97km to help cement his side’s grip on third place as well as his own blossoming reputation.
