At the other end of the field, the Hoffenheim coach is weighing up his alternatives to the suspended Benjamin Hübner. Ermin Bicakcic is the most likely option inside a back three.

Torsten Frings has every reason to want to stick with the 11 players who pulled off a coup in beating Borussia Dortmund last weekend, but he does have to make one change since Aytac Sulu picked up a fifth yellow card of the season in that encounter and needs to be replaced. Alexander Milosevic is the man expected to deputise inside the back four.
