• Naldo worth the investment, according to Flo.
  • Kübler and Latza offer fantastic value for money.
  • Kießling due a start after strong second-half showing against HSV.

Two matchdays into the second half of the season, and who tops the Official Fantasy Bundesliga insider's league? You got it - yours truly. No tactics boards, no calculators - just good old fashioned gut feeling. So let my intuition guide you once again on Matchday 20. Here's my A-Team...

Have you used your three free Official Fantasy Bundesliga transfers yet? If not, now's the time!

Naldo (FC Schalke 04, 14.1M)

FC Schalke 04 defender Naldo wins tackles and scores goals.

The Brazilian centre-back is on a roll. After smashing in a free-kick against FC Bayern München, he scored a header from a corner in the DFB Cup in midweek. He's always had goals in him, but only recently is he beginning to show his prowess in the final third for Schalke. The 34-year-old doesn't come cheap, but I fancy him to rifle in a few more with his rocket of a right boot in the weeks ahead. With that in mind, 14.1M doesn't seem all that much.

Lukas Kübler (SC Freiburg, 1.7M)

You won't find another defender at such a low price scoring so well in terms of Fantasy points as Lukas Kübler. If you're still on the lookout for a regular starter at a bargain price, the Freiburg right-back is the man for you. Freiburg round off the Matchday 20 action at home to Köln, who are not exactly known for scoring a lot of goals on their travels. That's why I'm banking on a solid result for Kübler. Go on - it's not like he'll put a dent in your budget!

Danny Latza (1. FSV Mainz 05, 7.35M)

1. FSV Mainz 05's Danny Latza scored a hat-trick scored a hat-trick against Hamburger SV back on Matchday 15.

Danny Latza is another of the cheapest regular starters out there, but this weekend I'm out to get double my money's worth. I always start the weekend by naming a player from the Friday night game as captain, and this time the Mainz workhorse is my first choice. In case you need any further convincing: last time I put my faith in Latza, he scored a hat-trick.

Naby Keita (RB Leipzig, 14.45M)

Most of you probably already have the Leipzig all-rounder in your team - at least I hope so. But those of you - like me - who started the year without him because it wasn't clear if he'd be fully fit to face Eintracht Frankfurt, should make their move now. Against a highly motivated Hamburger SV side, he'll have ample opportunity to show off his defensive qualities in the Leipzig midfield. Just to remind you: Against Borussia Dortmund, he won 21 duels (!), for which he earned eight Fantasy points.

Stefan Kießling (Bayer 04 Leverkusen, 12.45M)

If he starts, Stefan Kießling is bound to pick up points - whether he scores or not.

No, it's not going well for Leverkusen right now, but Stefan Kießling can change all that against Eintracht Frankfurt. The veteran centre forward was introduced after half-time in the 1-0 defeat in Hamburg, and was one of Leverkusen's most dangerous players by the end. It's difficult to imagine Roger Schmidt not naming him in his starting line-up on Saturday. If he does, you can benefit because the textbook centre forward wins 15 duels on average per 90 minutes. That guarantees Fantasy points, even if he goes home empty-handed.

So there it is. I think there's a player for all tastes and budgets. For me - without giving too much away - Naby Keita and Danny Latza are top of this week's shopping list. I'm undecided on my final transfer, but Kübler and Kießling have a good chance making the squad.
