Signed in January from RB Leipzig after failing to feature this season, the big forward has been given a chance by Torsten Frings at SV Darmstadt 98, and the Bremen-born player is repaying his faith.

Boyd opened the scoring for the bottom side in the 2-1 win at home to Borussia Dortmund – his former club – to register his very-first goal in the German top flight.
