Mexico's Javier ‘Chicharito’ Hernandez wasn’t even expected to play in the game against Eintracht Frankfurt, but the Bayer 04 Leverkusen faithful will be thrilled he recovered in time to bag a brace in the 3-0 victory.
Chicharito opened the scoring in just the fifth minute with a well-taken finish inside the box after good work by Kai Havertz.
The attempts kept on coming for the Mexican as Leverkusen piled the pressure on the Frankfurt defence, and Hernandez struck again just after the hour with a deft touch to finish off a fine team move by Die Werkself.
Chicharito stresses it is a team game, but his personal efforts against the Eagles were enough for you to name him your Matchday 20 MVP!
